House of Maine is built on three non-negotiables: health, temperament, and ethics.

We are a small Maine Coon cattery committed to intentional practices, transparent guidance, and lifelong accountability. Every kitten is raised with care, observed closely, and placed thoughtfully because this is never just about a transaction, but about the lives entrusted to us.

We work exclusively with trusted, licensed breeders who share the same values as us.

At House of Maine, each kitten is known individually. Their personalities, comforts, and needs are carefully understood before they ever meet their future families.

Beyond adoption, we believe in continuity. The Gentle Giants Club exists because support shouldn’t end at handover. We remain present, accessible, and invested, long after our kittens go home.

We have also created The Maine Squad, a public chat for Maine Coon owners, lovers of the breed, those keen to know more about the breed, thinking of getting one, or simply looking to make friends with other pawrents!

We had a wonderful experience with House of Maine. Nadia was very responsive and incredibly patient in answering all our questions. As first-time cat owners, we really appreciated how reassuring she was throughout the process. She took the time to provide all the information we needed, which made us feel much more confident about welcoming a cat into our home. She personally delivered the kitten to our place and took the time to make sure he was comfortable and well adjusted before leaving. That extra care and attention meant a lot to us. The thoughtful gifts and starter pack she prepared for us were such a lovely touch and showed how much she cares about both the cats and the new owners. I felt warmly welcomed by Nadya and her husband—it truly felt like visiting a home filled with friendly Maine Coons. The shop is cozy and inviting, and I especially enjoyed interacting with the kittens and observing their unique personalities. When I was choosing my second cat, Nadya patiently answered all my questions and guided me thoughtfully, helping me make the right decision. Her responses were always prompt, considerate, and reassuring. It’s clear that House of Maine is not just a business, unlike more commercialised pet stores—the kittens are genuinely raised with love and care. Nadya also takes the time to ensure each kitten goes to a suitable home where they can truly flourish. This level of dedication is something I deeply appreciate. We had the best experience with House of Maine and we couldn’t be happier with our two Maine Coons, Maxx and Maison. As first-time cat owners, we were initially quite nervous about the process, but Nadya and her husband made the entire journey so smooth and reassuring from the very beginning. What stood out to us was how much genuine love and care they have for their kittens. It is very clear that the cats are not just treated as a business — they are raised in a loving environment, well-socialised with humans, and cared for with so much attention. Their cattery is also very clean, spacious, and well-maintained, which gave us even more confidence when choosing our kittens. Nadya was incredibly patient and responsive throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all our questions, and guided us without ever being pushy or rushing us into making a decision. She truly cares about finding the right homes for her kittens and wants to make sure both the cats and owners are a good match. We got Maxx in January and Maison about 2 months later, and both experiences were just as wonderful. The kittens came with proper vaccinations, pedigree certificates, and all the necessary information we needed as new owners. Nadya and her husband personally brought them to our home and made sure they were comfortable and settled in before leaving, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The starter pack was also such a lovely touch — with kibbles, wet food, toys, merch, and even little things for the humans. It really showed how much effort and heart they put into welcoming their kittens into their new homes. Even after bringing our cats home, Nadya has always been just a message away and continues to check in on them. Six months later, both Maxx and Maison are healthy, happy, and have settled in wonderfully with no issues. We are extremely grateful to have found House of Maine and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to welcome a Maine Coon into their family. The quality of their kittens, the care they put into housing them, and the genuine passion they have for Maine Coons truly make them special.
